September Report
The sections of the fence at the neighborhood pool, adjacent to the lake, have been repaired. Vandals broke the fence in two different places earlier this year. The repair will ensure that the fence cannot be easily broken in the future. The pumps used to send the water over the vanishing edge of the pool will soon be repaired. Since this is not the first time the pumps have broken down, the maintenance committee is looking into repair options that provide a more permanent solution to the problem.


Meeting Times
The Maintenance Committee will meet monthly on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30PM at the Clubhouse.

Committee Objectives

Establised to oversee and monitor all commons/facilities excluding those related to the landscape, lakes and architectural control committees (including the club house, pool, playground, street lights, gazebos, public piers, the entrance fountain, roads, drainage, etc.). Assist other committees and HOA for a comprehensive oversight of the community’s amenities and facilities.

Inspect neighborhood/facilities periodically and note repair issues. Make recommendations to the HOA Board for repairs and preventative maintenance. Review contracts (working with other committees) for servicing the commons/facilities and make recommendations to the HOA Board.

  • Cleaning service for club house.

  • Cleaning and repair service for pool.

  • Cleaning service for grounds.

  • Repair services for the club house, playground, street lights, subdivision wall, entrance fountain, roads/curbs/sidewalks/etc., lakes, fountains, bulkheads, landscaping, gazebos, public piers, etc.

Determine the useful life of facilities and equipment and establish a maintenance and replacement schedule. Have adopted into the budget so reserves for major expenditures are prepaid. Set rules for use of pool, playground and club house. Make a report to HOA Board at the monthly HOA Board Meeting. Have a representative attend the monthly HOA general meeting.
